The day of surgery, a full flap will be made, the ridge and tissue will be managed according to plan, and the implants will be placed.
Healing caps will be placed and the implants will be buried for healing.
You will deliver the denture to the patient to wear. A few days later, the patient’s denture will be relined chairside with soft reline material for improved fit.
If you would like to convert and load the case the day of surgery (we do not recommend it due to cost and other technical issues), make sure to utilize an implant manufacturer compatible with Atlantis. Follow the immediate load protocol, which includes but is not limited to, parts ordering, conversion, maintenance, oral hygiene, and healing.
Once the implants are fully integrated, you will need to remove the appliance and the multi-unit abutments, and start following the Conus protocol.
