During the prosthetic workup, the restorative doctor will conduct a prosthodontic exam and have the patient complete and execute the remaining consent forms.
Following the prosthetic workup, the restorative doctor should contact the surgeon and lab to plan a time to discuss the case.
While it is not often the case, should you choose to place an immediate denture, it is important to note that it is your responsibility to coordinate with your Specialist regarding their protocol for the ordering or and billing for parts required for the conversion. These parts are not provided by Allure Dental Studio nor are they included in the fees listed below.
Before the patient leaves your office,

Make alginate impressions
Make JRR and orientation record for maxillary arch
Take a facebow or stick bite record
Take intra-oral and extra-oral photographs
Evaluate bone reduction
Measure lip position at maximum smile
Determine
Maxillary midline position
Maxillary central incisal edge position
Evaluate bone reduction/transition line
Patient completes remaining consent forms
Contact the surgeon and lab to schedule a time to discuss the case.
